The Hit Air "Lightning Star" model is identical in design to the "CrossCountry" airbag waistcoat. The colouring increases passive safety, as the wearer is noticed early and from a long distance.
The neck area is light and softly lined and the 500 D nylon outer material makes the waistcoat particularly robust.
This model is available in two sizes: the medium size (M) covers sizes S to XL and the extra-large size (XL) covers sizes XL to 3XL.
This HitAir airbag waistcoat has the following features, among others:

I bought this hi-vis safety vest and I’m totally satisfied with it 😉 The vest fits so well and doesn’t get in the way! Unfortunately, I forgot to take it off after riding… so now I need a new cartridge – but most importantly, at least I now know that my vest works perfectly ;))

From me, 4 stars… I’m a convinced user, but so far I haven’t had to test it.
Right now it’s with you for maintenance and repair because I tore off a buckle.
What I’m curious about… I’ve lost a lot of weight, and the vest now feels much too large.
Could you upload more pictures online that clearly show how the vest should fit properly?
And how should I best attach it to a Western saddle with a horn?
When sitting the trot it really wobbles, I think it’s actually too big.

I've had the waistcoat for 2 years now and have already been able to test it. Never again another waistcoat!!!
The only drawback:
As it is adjustable for all sizes, it sits a little like a "sack" in size 36 and looks very large.
However, it provided optimum protection in the event of a fall.
Changing the cartridge was also no witchcraft and was done in a short time.

Yesterday I fell off my new horse for the first time. Another horse had kicked out at mine with full force. My horse swerved, and I landed in 15 cm of deep snow. The vest worked perfectly. I've had the waistcoat for a year now and today the worst thing ever happened: my mare tripped and rolled over...and me too. The waistcoat triggered immediately and I landed softly (it felt like I was doing somersaults in gym class).
Nothing happened to me at all - thank God nothing happened to the horse either, but that had nothing to do with the waistcoat.

Der Frühling ruft, und Reiter und Pferd konnten es kaum erwarten, über die Wiese zu galoppieren. Während mir die Sonne und das weite Feld nur ein breites Grinsen ins Gesicht zaubern, kann sich mein Pferd nicht im Zaum halten (haha) und muss seiner Freude unbedingt mit ein paar Bucklern Ausdruck verleihen. Im Handumdrehen lag ich am Boden, hatte weder die Zeit, den Flug zu genießen, noch die Zeit zu überlegen, ob ich mich nicht doch irgendwie oben halten kann. Als ich Begriff, dass mein Pferd mich abgeschüttelt hatte, spürte ich ein wenig nach, ob mein Kopf heil war. Ja, der Helm hatte gute Dienste geleistet. Dann erst fiel mir ein, dass ich ja auf den Rücken gefallen war. Hatte denn der Airbag ausgelöst?? Und während ich einem Krabbelkäfer gleich auf der Wiese lag, begriff ich, dass ich vom Airbarg umhüllt war. Das hatte ich überhaupt nicht wahrgenommen! Den „Knall“ hatte ich auch nicht mitbekommen. Nur, dass ich trotz Rückenlage fast wie auf Wolken gefallen war, das wurde mir nun klar!
Seit über acht Jahren hatte ich keinen Sturz mehr, da aber meine Knochendichte mittlerweile sehr zu Wünschen übrig lässt, ich jedoch das Reiten nicht aufgeben möchte, trage ich die Weste nicht nur bei Ausritten sondern auch beim Reiten auf dem Platz. Nun, der Sturz vor drei Tagen hat mir bewiesen, dass ich das genau so weiter machen werde. Danke Hit Air!
