Application tips
Hello dear horse owners,
We are often asked whether the application of KerbEX differs from other products. We cannot speak for other products, but to ensure the longest possible protection, you should apply KerbEX as follows.
1. KerbEX is for external use only.
2. KerbEX can be applied with a sponge or cloth, or by using a spray bottle.

3. KerbEX should be used undiluted, as diluting the product also reduces its effectiveness.
4. During the first week, you should spray your horse over a large area daily if possible. Please make sure that KerbEX does not come into contact with open wounds or mucous membranes.
5. In the second week, spray your horse only every other day, and in the third week every third day with KerbEX. During this time, you will notice that the insect infestation has significantly decreased.
6. From then on, spray your horse only when you notice that the infestation is increasing again. According to satisfied KerbEX customers, this is usually every 2–3 days. In periods of continuous rain, it may be a bit more frequent.
KerbEX Spezial is a pure oil against black flies. It should be applied very thinly to the affected skin areas. When used inside the ear, make sure that the amount applied is sufficient for protection but does not reach the eardrum. Application once every 3–4 days should be sufficient.

With this method of application, assuming a moderate level of infestation, spraying directly before a ride is often unnecessary.
